Cristina Allen...or better known as Bug
In 5th grade, I went to the Grand Teton Mountain Range in Wyoming for 3 days with my class. I had my disposable camera & I remember SO patiently waiting for the perfect picture spot. While the other kids were snapping pics of whomever/whatever, I was climbing, getting on my hands/knees, pressing my cheeks to the ground...just to find the impossibly beautiful. I was in complete awe + wanted to capture it all. When I arrived home, I raced to get my film developed (I got doubles of course...any of you remember those days? hehe) My teacher + the other fifth grade teachers wanted copies of MY PICTURES. They couldn't believe that a 5th grader took such unique + beautiful photographs. Mrs. Johnson even took a few home so that she could show her husband. I will always remember how proud I was & how good it felt for someone to want my pictures, my work, & my vision. My love of photography started really young & I was ALWAYS the kid/teenager with a camera in possession at all times. Nothing much has changed....I'm still that kid that has her camera within reach at all times.
First & foremost...my babies + husband are everything. My whole world in fact. I am a dreamer + adventurist. I go by my nickname, Bug. I eat an unnatural amount of sour patch watermelons. I laugh. I laugh a lot. I might be the biggest Harry Potter fan in the universe (I know, insert monkey covering eyes emoji here). I am a runner, hiker, + book worm. I sooooo wish I had more time to oil paint + I take LOTS OF PICTURES.
Oh, & did I mention I am the co-founder & co-owner over at Rōz ?
